Kōzō, the Japanese word for structure, is a nod to Japanese minimalism. The clean lines of the exterior cubes are carried through to the interior and the subtle contrasts of the wood finishes bring warmth to the design. The building is an 8-unit new construction directly next door to the project that started it all - Banneker Hill. Located on Chapin St NW, it is close to both Meridian Hill Park and 14th Street. The building’s two penthouses boast large roof decks with views of the monuments. This project was completed Summer, 2020.
