The Senova is a 9-unit new construction building located in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC. The building’s exterior, which blends the original front facade with a modern addition, inspired both the building’s name and interior design. Senova is a blend of the latin words senex, meaning “old man”, and nova, meaning “new”. Senova’s old/new theme continues to the interior with classic herringbone wood floors, shaker-style cabinets, and classic calacatta quartz countertops mixed with modern lighting, plumbing fixtures, and tile. Senova was completed and sold in Fall/Winter, 2019.
